DAY 11 - MAHEBOURG

We wake to a fine view

and find that our breakfast has been delivered onto our terrace packed in a Little Red Riding Hood wicker basket covered with a blue gingham tablecloth!  4 fresh eggs, cartons of OJ and milk, cornflakes, bread, a selection of nice jams, yoghurt... 

A short distance further up the hill is a tortoise enclosure

and viewpoint seats

It's not far into town

via Notre Dame des Anges 

to the impressive old building which houses the National History museum (no photos allowed inside unfortunately as we much admire the exhibit of the only complete dodo skeleton)
